An original concept combining a maritime port, river port and dry port
Created in 1981 at the mouth of the river after which it was named, Port abri du Béal offers pleasure boaters 106 sea berths and just over 180 spaces in the river area. Its status as a shelter means its maritime part can only operate from april to october. However, it provides its guests with a permanent, all-year-round solution, by accommodating boats temporarily in the river area or at its dry port. The latter includes various off-season stowage areas for boats on trailers, and a hangar with fifty or so spaces.
The 2000-square metre hangar concept offers an annual subscription that includes: the dry port service, in a ventilated hangar under permanent surveillance, and a space in the water during the summer months.
Advantages of the dry port and hangar
- Less risk of osmosis
- Less time spent in the boatyard
- Best possible protection against bad weather, uv rays, condensation and mould.

- 7 months in the marina and 5 months in the hanger
7 consecutive months in the marina, from 1st April to 31st October + 5 months storage in the hangar, from 1st November to 31st March + rinsing the boat's hull with high pressure water after 7 months in the water
