This Charter of Environmental Commitments was unanimously adopted by the members of the Environmental Consultation Committee on 14 April 2015. It was officially signed at the Committee meeting on 14 December 2015.

This charter is based on the idea of social responsibility, focusing on both the qualitative development and high added value of airport activity that creates jobs, and the reduction of nuisances. Its primary purpose is maintaining good dialogue and relationships with residents, associations and elected representatives.

Building on the results obtained over the past twelve years, Cannes-Mandelieu Airport wants to make further progress. It is in this spirit of improvement that the Sub-Prefecture of Grasse, the French Directorate for Civil Aviation Safety South-East (DSAC-SE), French Air Traffic Control South-East (ATC-SE), the French Authority for Airport Noise Control and Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur (ACA) are committing to a new programme of environmental measures.

It is therefore with great enthusiasm that Cannes-Mandelieu Airport has launched this third Charter of Environmental Commitments, which is in line with previous charters and completely dedicated to respect for civic life, people and their environment.
