The removal of the beacon in Cagnes-sur-Mer will have no impact forAntibes
Installed in 1994, the beacon located at the racecourse in Cagnes-sur-Mer will be definitively withdrawn from service on 31 December 2022. It is replaced by the GPS system for guiding aircraft approaching from the West, which guarantees compliance with the procedure for bypassing the Cape of Antibes whenever weather conditions allow.

Nice Côte d'Azur is strengthening its partnership with Restos du Cœur
Launched in March 2022 as a trial, the partnership between the airport and the charity founded by Coluche has been a great success. A first in France, this unprecedented initiative allows travellers to donate products prohibited in the cabin to Restos du Cœur. It will now be continued and expanded to all terminals at the airport.

The Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur group reduces its electricity consumption by 10%
Although it has a long-standing commitment to decarbonising its activities, the Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur group is also responding to a request from the Government and the Côte d'Azur region to reduce electricity consumption without delay. To tackle the challenge, Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur group plans to slash its electricity consumption by 10% , which equates to 3.8 gigawatt-hours. Many of the solutions implemented will play a long-term role in reducing the environmental footprint of its activities even further. A stricter version of this plan may be triggered if the national energy situation worsens.

Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur becomes the first level 4+ carbon-neutral airport group in France
The Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur group, which has continually been striving to improve its environmental policy for more than 20 years, has taken an essential new step towards achieving its goal of full net zero emissions, without any offset, by 2030. The award of the new Airport Carbon Accreditation level 4+ certifies the reduction of the absolute value of the Group’s emissions, while the Golfe de Saint-Tropez airport has already become the first airport in France in a position to claim net zero, without any offsetting.

Aeroports de la Cote d'Azur is initiating an unprecedented forest reforestation program
In accordance with commitments made in January 2020, during the presentation of its Cap 2030 program, Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur has announced the establishment of a tripartite agreement, the first of its kind in France, with local towns and the National Forestry Office, to plant trees at the heart of the Côte d'Azur region and thus benefit from carbon sinks.
